Sun or Shade

Why do some plants thrive in the hot sun with little or no watering? While other plants prefer a shaded area and lots of moisture. This is where plant selection is key to a successful landscape project. The plants selected for area in the garden should be adapted to that areas micro-climate (sun or shade, dry or moist) and soil type (clay or sandy loam). This will ensure a successful future for the landscape project. What type of tree will do well on heavy clay? What shrubs will tolerate a north-west exposure to the elements? Our landscape designer will take all of these factors into consideration when planning a landscape for our customers.
